DHT is a substance that damages hair follicles, causing them to produce fewer and thinner hair. DHT inhibitors are therefore important to combat hair loss. Neofollics tablets contain natural extracts that inhibit DHT and promote hair growth, such as Saw Palmetto extract (Saw Palmetto), Beta-sitosterol, Nettle extract, Red clover extract, EGCG and isoflavones. SugarBearHairs does not contain any DHT inhibitors .

Amino acids enhance hair growth by improving nutrient transport to the hair root and increasing energy production. Neofollics contains three amino acids: L-carnitine, L-cysteine and Taurine. SugarBearHair does not contain any amino acids.

Vitamins A, C and E are general vitamins found in all kinds of foods. Vitamin A can be found in milk, broccoli, spinach, carrot and cabbage. Vitamin C is found in citrus fruits, strawberries, kiwi, tomatoes and green vegetables, among others. Vitamin E is found in eggs, sunflower seeds, leafy vegetables and asparagus. It is nice that these vitamins are in the SugarBearHair, but if you already have a varied diet of fruits and vegetables, then these vitamins will not be needed.

Also known as Vitamin B8, biotin is an important vitamin for hair. It makes for stronger, fuller and healthier hair and is also good your skin and nails. However, your body can only absorb a certain amount of biotin per day (between 1000-2500 mcg). A higher dose is not unsafe, but is thus not processed by the body. SugarBearHair contains 5000 mcg and Neofollics Tablets 1000 mcg. There may be more biotin in SugarBearHair's vitamins, but most of it is not used by your body.

Zinc is considered an important building block for healthy hair growth. Neofollics Tablets has a higher dose of zinc than SugarBearHair vitamins (1.5 mg versus 2.7 mg).

Conclusion: are SugarBearHair Vitamins worth it?

Looking at the ingredients, SugarBearHair Vitamins contain only a few active ingredients that really promote hair growth. Some ingredients appear in unnecessarily high doses, while you get other ingredients even with a varied diet.

When compared to Neofollics Tablets, SugarBearHair Vitamins comes off poorly. It contains far fewer ingredients that fight hair loss and stimulate hair growth. The SugarBearHair is far too expensive for the limited number of hair growth stimulating ingredients you get for it.

Our analysis shows that it is better to think of SugarBearHair as a normal vitamin supplement, rather than a true hair growth supplement like Neofollics. So from this we can only conclude that SugarBearHair is not worth the hype.
