The DS Labs beard roller is an innovative derma roller that uses 0.5mm micro-needles to gently perforate the skin. This process, known as microneedling, stimulates the skin's natural regeneration and promotes collagen production. With regular use of the dermaroller, hair follicles are activated and beard growth products are better absorbed, resulting in a fuller and thicker beard.

We recommend cleaning the beard roller with alcohol before use. You can use a cleaning solution containing 70% alcohol for this purpose. This is buy at any drugstore as Alcohol 70% or Alcohol Ketonatus 70%.

Using the DS Labs stimuroller is simple and safe. Follow these steps for best results:

Preparation: Clean your face thoroughly and make sure the beard roller is also clean. Disinfect the roller with disinfecting alcohol before use
Use the roller: gently roll the stimuroller over the beard area in different directions (horizontal, vertical and diagonal). Apply light pressure, making sure to treat the entire beard area. Roll the roller 5 times from left to right and bottom to top and 5 times diagonally back and forth
Aftertreatment:apply a beard growth serum or oil after treatment to maximize effectiveness. Wait at least 12 hours before application
Cleaning:clean the beard roller after each use with hot water and disinfectant to prevent infections

In the study 'A Randomized Evaluator Blinded Study of Effect of Microneedling in Androgenetic Alopecia: A Pilot Study', it was found that the use of a derma roller in combination with Minoxidil produced significantly better results in promoting hair growth in men with Androgenetic Alopecia compared with Minoxidil alone. Microneedling stimulated hair growth by activating stem cells and growth factors, resulting in a significantly greater increase in the number of hairs. As many as 82% of patients reported more than 50% improvement, compared with only 4.5% in the group receiving Minoxidil alone. This suggests that microneedling is a promising and safe treatment option, especially for patients where using Minoxidil alone does not produce the desired results.
