Brush maintenance

It is important to regularly clean the brush thoroughly. Remove hair from the brush with your hand and/or comb. Fill a bowl with warm water and add a small amount of shampoo or soap. Dip the bristles down into the water and swirl them around. Don't place the wood the bristles are attached to directly in the water, as you want to avoid water getting stuck in the base. Rinse the brush well with lukewarm water. Let the brush dry naturally upside down on a paper/cotton towel. If you clean the brush regularly, your hair will stay cleaner and shinier and the brush will last longer.

Before first use, new brushes should be washed thoroughly with warm soapy water. Do not let the soaped brush stand, but rinse the brush well immediately under running water. If you do not do this, soap residue will remain on the brush head which can affect the fine hair of the brush. Dry the brush by shaking out the remaining water and then hang it with the bristles down. Be careful not to use chemical detergents to clean the brush. Is it dry? Then the brush is ready to use!
